A book on everything a woman needs to know:

"From feminism to face cream, motherhood to money, politics to pulchritude."

But that's just the blurb.

"A witty and penetrating examination of the fantasies women create that imprison them"

That's the part that made me grab the book (and the cute cover played a role, ofcourse ;p).

I believe that a lot of the problems we women have are created by us. Consciously or unconsciously.


It would be interesting to see the writer's perspective. Looks like a good read.

Incase you haven't heard of the website, stylendubai.com is an online source of everything hot and happening in the Dubai fashion scene. Last week they hosted a very hip and intimate garden party, various boutiques and designers participated in the event including: Amzaan Boutique, Marka Moda Turkish Jewelry, Kirdan, and Poupee Couture. I loved it.


It was at that garden party where I met up with Dara Al Hadidi who warm heartedly invited me to their Jill Sander exclusive event at DIFC on the 31st of March, to preview their spring summer line.

Harem pants in Dubai:

It has come to my attention that this previously unpalatable trend is taking off. Flying off the racks to be exact.


Found the best collection so far at sauce (the village, not the dubai mall branch).


Give them a visit if you're looking for cropped jeans or cropped, and well tailored harem pants.

After Balmain brought back the acid wash trend from the 80's, another trend has been seen to emerge this spring. The top-to-bottom denim trend, from jackets, to jumpsuits to ripped jeans.

And although the light wash skinnies have made it to most our closets, will the double denim trend take?
