aww *is jealous*

ok, first thing's first. your first stop should be via della spiga and then work your way down to via montenapelone and shop your way down to corso vittorio emannuele, near the duomo cathedral. in via ds and via m you'll find marni, chanel, balenciaga, miu miu et al.

oh oh there's the CUTEST pet clothes shop near corso vittorio!! and there's a gorgeous jewellery store in galleria vittorio emmanuele. you have to go inside the cathedral, it's beautiful. and walk up the steps to the very top to see the breathtaking view of milan! oh and then let the duomo square behind you and just walk straight towards via dante. the cobbled streets, old buildings, street performers are just SO italy!

i've confused u, haven't i? lol i'll be back later with a proper list and a map:p

enjoy! xx

ps. there's this cafe that has the best melon gelato, you have to try it!

FANTASTICO !

it'd be great if u know italian , because ppl there speak italian and rarely English :P been there seen that :P
i think u should buy a guide to italy shopping or search wikipedia
it's been along time so i dont remember the places there or if they still existed

My only advice:
Hotel Manzoni.

It's at the center of il soog. Where Marni, Balenciaga, Miu Miu, etc... are right around the corner. Just one step out of the hotel will take you to whichever shop you have in mind.

" Must see in Milan:
The party of the week (make that party of the season) is next Monday’s celebration for Extreme Beauty in Vogue, an exhibition opening March 2 at the Palazzo della Ragione.

Food: Fashion crowd favorite Da Giacomo, pictured at left, consistently finds itself near the top of any Milanese Best Restaurants list. After 60 years in business, the cozy, pistachio-walled eatery has expanded, buying up a tobacconist, a bistro, and a patisserie all on the same block. Some locals sniff that the food at the main establishment has slipped a notch, but we put that down to a typically Milanese resistance to change. If you find the torte selection at the patisserie a little overwhelming, we recommend the Bomba for the name alone.

Culture: A visit to 10 Corso Como, the mini-department store and cultural space in the courtyard of a palazzo, is as obligatory for the style set as a tour of the Duomo for the more casual tourist. Fortunately, Carla Sozzani usually manages to make the trip worthwhile. At the moment the first-floor gallery space is devoted to glossy seventies glamour, with a collection of photographs from fashion shutterbug Guy Bourdin. In the downstairs shop, Cacharel has reissued a selection of its most popular pieces from the same trippy decade. That should combat any gray overload your winter wardrobe may be experiencing—assuming you’re feeling buoyed by the euro exchange rate.

I think everything has been covered in other comments. My only advise to you is never use the word ciao. I speak Italian and I know that it gives a bad impression when it is used with people with whom you are not familiar. Say "buon giorno" or "buona sera" as you enter and "arrivederci" as you leave.

the best tip i can give is to take me with u ;)

I've only been twice. The bvlgari hotel is where we stayed and it's always been great. i hate the food there though, lol.

Milan, the yummiest limone et fragola sorbets you'll ever find on the planet! lol i'm not much a fan of italian food so i'd say skip the food and enjoy your shoppinggg via della spiga, mentenapolene.. <3 it's a fashionista's playground enjoy yourself luv! corso como is so hip & cute . it's a must <3

Take a day trip to Lugano in swiss for Foxtown outlet store. Its like 50 kilometers away from Milan!

You will find all kinds of boutiques and of course there is always la Rinascente ;-)

Of course if you are into arts... dont miss Leonardo's "The Last Supper"

Oh and on my last trip I went there with my sister (without the central bank with us "my parents") we stayed at Jolly Hotel (a four star modern looking hotel) in the heart of Milan ;-)

6ab3an besides the shopping there are lots and lots of places to check when it comes to eating and dining or for a cafe... I wish I can come with you *sigh* 3alaich bel3afiaa

Fantastic blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring writers?
I'm planning to start my own website soon but I'm a
little lost on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go
for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I'm completely confused .. Any ideas? Thank you!
