Mamma mia!

Last year, mamma mia played in Dubai, it was around the time I was getting ready for my own wedding and I missed it. Everyone had told me at the time that I should go see it cuz it has such a positive vibe, that it was what I needed to ease the bridezilla thing I had going on back then lol. But I missed it.



So the movie came out this weekend, and I'm not a fan of musicals, but (I surprise myself that way) I was humming along throughout, I don't know when or how those abba hits got into my head, I just know that I found myself singing along and practically skipped out of the theatre all giggly and "my my my here I go again"-ing lol.





Most touching moment: when meryl streep sang "the winner takes it all", really got to me, and I'm sure a lot of people can relate to this and other parts of the musical. Very romantic a la aphrodite.



Most awkward scene: anything with Pierce Brosnan singing in it. It just did not work for me.





End result: I was left craving an island retreat, exotic drinks and flowy sundresses. And ofcourse, to be swaying with love like the love struck sofie and her fiance.
