In our world, people tend to suck up. "Idhan saira" or butter him up is a very common and definite way of getting what you want, and getting where you want.
There are so many shortcuts, so many steps you can jump if you chose to take that path.
However, there comes a person so righteous, someone who makes u believe that if you do everything right, the way its meant to be, then it is only a matter of time before you get what you deserve.
My dad has this sense of right and wrong, ever since I was a kid I remember him instilling the importance of black and white.. It is his strict adherence to what is morally, religiously and socially right that was a constant in our lives.
I am not saying that I have half his self-righteousness, I am a rebel by all means, but him doing the right things right, always gave us this sense of security.
Today, however, I have learnt that in a corrupt society, people who take the right path hardly ever get dealt a good hand. Today I have also learnt that the path less taken is not only the hardest, but can lead to a dead end.
"We are fighters, we do not break", is what I told my brother when he gave me the news, and what I would have told my father had I been given the chance.
- to my family, I love you, and I will always always be there for u. x

I think there is more than one right way, in fact, there are many. If one didn't get you there, take another.

as one person i will never cease to forget once said, "اللي يقول الحق محد يبيي"
yes! its SAD!
I was taught that no matter what.. always stay on that 'right path'. Dead ends are just an illusion. The problem in our society (and the world really) is that people have different definitions to what the 'right path' should be. I think good parents should give their kids the 'tools' to figure out their chosen paths.. but wether its the right one or not... it all depends on the one
